Techne Tecal 140F Dri-Block Calibrator

Light-weight, portable field dri-block calibrator with minimum temperature 45°C below ambient

Features
The Techne Tecal 140F dri-block calibrator is lightweight and designed specifically for use in the field. The Tecal 140F has the same precision control system used in the benchtop models providing excellent reliability and accuracy. The Tecal 140F is the low temperature model for the Techne Tecal F series calibrators.

The Techne Tecal 140F has a display resolution of 0.01°C and is available with an RS-232 communications port. The Techne Tecal 140F can be used with a wide range of inserts to suit different probe sizes. An automatic cooling fan is standard, with accelerated cooling probes also available.

Techne Tecal 140F calibrators are compatible with the Techneworks software which allows for full control of the 140F from a PC for easy temperature sensor and thermometer calibrations. The Techneworks software supports calibration and calibration certificate generation of up to five sensors at one time.

The Techne Tecal 140F includes (1) #7032534 insert and calibration certificate. Additional inserts are available as accessories.




Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Calibrator

Wide temperature range with a built-in program for thermal switch testing.

Features
The Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Calibrator provides a safe, dry and constant temperature source and can be used either on a bench top or as a portable field unit. The temperature range unit covered by the Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Calibrator is from 5°C above ambient up to 430°C using a machined aluminum insert block as the heat transfer medium.

The temperature control circuit is built right into the Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Calibrator. Even though the Techne UCal400+ heats up rapidly, highly efficient insulation ensures that the case remains cool enough to handle even at maximum operating temperatures. Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Calibrator has been designed to comply with all relevant Radio Frequency interference and electrical safety regulations.

The Techne UCal400+ Dry-Block Portable Calibrator includes one multi-well insert (predrilled 1/8", 3/16", 1/4", 5/16", & 3/8" well sizes),power cable, insert extractor, NIST traceable calibration certificate and instruction manual.

The Techne Tecal 425F has a display resolution of 0.01°C and is available with an RS-232 communications port. Techne Tecal 425F calibrators can be used with a wide range of inserts to suit different probe sizes. An automatic cooling fan is standard, with accelerated cooling probes also available.

Isotech Jupiter 650 Calibrator

High-temperature dry block calibrator ambient to 650°C (1202°F)

Features
The Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator offers industry-leading performance in an easy-to-use portable package. With its wide temperature range, the Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator will reach that important 1200°F mark making it ideal for the calibration of thermocouples as well as platinum resistance thermometers. The Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator has been designed for fast heating and cooling for convenient field use. For flexibility, surface sensor and infrared thermometer accessories can be added.

The Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator's standard insert can hold up to six thermometers. For larger blocks, see the Gemini and Medusa models. All Isotech calibrators including the Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator include a customized controller with 5 point linearization allowing for unmatched absolute accuracy and repeatability in a portable dry block.

The SITE model of the Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator has a universal sensor input allowing Platinum Resistance Thermometers, Thermocouples (K, N, R, S, L, B, PL2, T, J & E) along with Linear Process Inputs including 4-20mA current transmitters to be displayed on the built-in indicator. The Isotech Jupiter 650 dry block calibrator's SITE indicator is commonly used to display an external standard thermometer giving greater accuracy by eliminating temperature gradient and loading errors. The indicator also can be programmed with up to five calibration points to provide high accuracy digital probe matching.

Cal Notepad software now comes standard with the Isotech Isocal 6 Temperature Calibrator. Cal NotePad Software automatically logs and displays the temperature of an Isotech calibration bath together with the sensor under test. Cal Notepad can be used with baths (or indicators) without PC interfaces by the user typing in values from the keyboard.




Isotech Pegasus 1200 Portable Calibration Furnace

High temperature calibrator, 150 to 1200°C (2192°F)

Features
The Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator is a tube furnace, which includes a specially-profiled heater that gives a central zone of constant temperature. The Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator is ideal for the calibration of noble metal thermocouples, type R and S, in industries such as glass making, electrical power, automotive, and material processing. A state of the art digital controller with custom tuning and 5 discrete calibration points provide users of the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator with optimal control and accuracy throughout the full range of the unit.

Available in Site or Basic models, the Basic model of the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator utilizes a high accuracy, high stability temperature controller which sets and indicates the block temperature. A standard temperature sensor and external thermometer should be used to measure the block's temperature, and industrial sensor outputs are compared to known and traceable values. The site models include an independent temperature indicator that may connect to an optional type R or type S thermocouple or PT100 standard probe, allowing the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator's reference system to be housed in one convenient case.

The temperature range of the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator is 150 to 1200°C. With a stabilization time of 15 minutes, the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator's insert dimensions are 4 holes 5/16" ø x 3.2" deep (8mm x 80mm) and the insert options allow drillings to be made per customer specifications.

A fast cool down probe is available as an option. When connected to an air supply, this probe cools down the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator in about 25% of the normal time. All models of the Isotech Pegasus 1200 calibrator are supplied with RS232 or RS422 communications and software.

The Isotech Isocal 6 temperature calibrator can calibrate temperature sensors absolutely or by comparison. The Isotech Isocal 6 temperature calibrator will calibrate contact and non-contact sensors including infrared thermometers, surface sensors, mercury in glass thermometers, as well as thermocouples, RTDs, and thermistors of any shape.

There are three different models of the Isotech Isocal 6 temperature calibrator covering a total temperature range of -65°C below ambient to 250°C.
